Grussbotschaft des Gemeinderats Stadt Bern

Sehr geehrte LGBTI-Gemeinschaft, Liebe Besucherinnen und Besucher,

Das diesjährige Motto beinhaltet bereits die Aussage, dass Diversität eine Stärke ist. Doch damit Diversität eine Gemeinschaft auch stärkt, braucht es klare Zeichen. Und ein solches wollen wir hier in der Hauptstadt setzen: der Gemeinderat hat die Gleichstellung von LGBTI-Menschen in die Legislaturziele aufgenommen und wird nun den Beitritt der Stadt Bern zum «Rainbow Cities Network» in die Wege leiten. Es freut mich deshalb sehr, die Pride Ouest in Bern begrüssen zu dürfen, und ich hoffe natürlich, dass das Zeichen auf weitere Städte, Regionen und die gesamte Gesellschaft überschwappt.

Chère communauté LGBTI, chères visiteuses et chers visiteurs,

Le slogan de cette pride contient déjà le message que la diversité est une force. Mais pour que cette diversité renforce toute une communauté, il faut le marquer par des signes clairs. La ville fédérale a la volonté de montrer de tels signes: elle a inscrit à son programme de législature l’objectif de l’égalité des personnes LGBTI et elle va enclencher le processus de son adhésion au réseau „Rainbow City Network“. C’est donc avec un plaisir tout particulier que je salue l’organisation de cette pride romande 2017 à Berne et j’émets le souhait que ce signe sera repris par d’autres villes et régions de Suisse.
